Written by Janice Robinson and music by Teddy Kumple. Dead End Girl is a song about growing up in a small town Garfield New Jersey on a dead end block. Robinson always felt like she wanted to get away and see the world. She dreamed of discovering the world outside of the small town so, she worked really hard and made her dreams come true. She often times felt like an outsider and an odd ball who never fit. Music allowed Robinson to escape the reality of the small town, which led her to finally write about it. She dedicated Dead End Girl to her hometown on my album. A quote from Janice Robinson herself, "Talk around town is I am a dead end girl."
