About W. Ed Harris

W. Ed Harris is a classically trained Multi-Instrumentalist and Composer with a primary focus on Celtic/Irish traditional music the past 23 years. Ed’s most recent release, “The New Bern Seisiuns” (Feb. 2016) has been nominated for "Celtic Album of the Year" which is sponsored by INEC Killarney. He has provided soundtracks for 3 documentary films, provided music content for the theater group, "Theatrikos" and volunteered as a sound engineer for 7 years while serving on the board of the "Fiddle & Bow Music Society" in NC. Ed will soon be releasing his 5th album, “Reflections of the Heart” in November 2016 which will be available via all major music retailers (iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon, Pandora, etc.). Ed considers himself more a studio musician as opposed to a performer and plans to continue composing, recording, and producing under his label "Harris Music" for many years to come.
